It is never too late because some of us keep looking back for updates.
Your points about the successes of natural cures such as aspirin are correct and well taken.

I know for certain that Essiac tea and some other herbals can have a significant effect on some cancers. There is a rare but naturally occuring salt that can have an extensive effect on cancer, cesium chloride.

The problem is that there is little or no profit in such so this is frowned upon by the establishment.
I have read the article about double blind studies and can say that the problem is not that the studies are double blind it is the prejudicial application of double blind studies by the establishment that gives these studies a bad name.
In some cases when the study is presented for funding, the administrators (almost always MD's and members of the AMA) will send the proposals back to the originators saying that the dose is too high and suggesting that the dosage be reduced or something to that extent. The application is then resubmitted at about 1/10th the minimum effective dosage and is subsequently accepted. The study is doomed to saying that the substance doe not work.
It is not the double blind aspect that is the problem, rather it is the hog-tying and predetermination of a failed result that is the problem and the resulting distrust of the establishment by many on these forums.
