I find your answer very interesting, because you base your conclusions merely on assumptions, while you accuse the other side of doing just the same.

There are good and there are bad studies, and in order to decide that, one should not base their conclusions on whether the results confirm one's own health belief, but on how the study is conducted. It IS absolutely possible to discover things that have been dismissed as wrong previously.
