The first fast I went a full 10 days and lost about 2 pounds per day (20 pounds), using just over half the amount of maple syrup...then I went on an 8 day fast shortly after and lost another 10 pounds. I have been back on normal food for over 2 and a half weeks now, and all the weight has stayed off...
