Something's going around. Keep the MUCINEX on hand to thin mucus. This is time-release Guiafenesin, as liquid Guiafenesin ("Robitussin I" and the generics) only acts for about twenty minutes. Use no salicylates, i.e., asprin or herbs, like menthol in cough drops, as this blocks the effect of Guiafenesin, an expectorant; and take plenty of water as the MUCINEX will potentiate cell hydration, increasing the need.
