The hysterical reaction to the media hype is a very real explanation of why the hospitals are overflowing and more people than last year are dying from the flu. There are also something called "Chemtrails" which apparently have been dropped on us for several years, polluting the environment and probably causing the symptoms more widely seen that you described.

When did the media campaign start? When did they run out hospital beds?

By the way, the flu used to be my nemisis. Would get them twice a year and suffer for more than a week each time. Got over my last one in 20 minutes and that was more than 23 years ago. Now if I could just find the cure for mosquito bites....
