Hi Wyman,

Chlorinated water from the tap is safe, but don't let your lips touch that tap in case someone who was sick
did the same thing.

If water in a lake could be contaminated the cases would number in the millions by now.
Viruses/bacteria like chlamydia need a host in which to live very quickly or they will die.
That is why a cough or a sneeze when you are close is the way to get infected.
