What you wrote was fantastic. I could identify with almost every word. It is bad enough that there are people in the world that delight in causing other people misery, but, it's worse (cut-throat) when it is done by a family member. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and experiences. There are probably a lot more people than is commonly thought that suffer this kind of abuse. I hope you will not be a stranger to this forum, you could be a big help to a lot of people (Thank God for this forum). I managed to write some poems last summer because the Predators in my life were on vacation and I felt relaxed enough to concentrate on MY life (my first poems in 35 years). I managed to write four poems and started to get my head together and restore my sanity. If ever you get relaxed enough to write a poem, please show it on this forum,I would be very interested to read it. One of my poems explains that the Prey is the envy of the Predator because the Predator is afraid to be discovered as being shallow and lonely and cannot truly enjoy what life has to offer. I first put it on Curezone back in January. A couple of months later, I noticed it on the POETRY forum (I don't mind, I'm glad it was well recieved and appreciated). I'm going to put the link to that poem on the POETRY forum at the bottom of this page (there will be another link when you get to that page, that's my original posting in January). It is very short, but that is probably better for focus.
