Has anyone ever tried the "light bulb style" screw in ceramic emitters? They are not that cheap, but installation should be snap. Also, they do not put out any light. I find the red heat lamps hurt my eyes almost immediately, even if I am not looking directly at it. I have ordered some of the screw-in style heaters to see how well they work.
