I have a feeling that there's nothing to be had for me. I was going to get a foldable, portable infrared unit that was reasonable enough to buy. I particularly wanted that one because I could use it while sitting here at the computer. (That way there'd be no waste of healing time while at the computer). I specifically like the fact that it wouldn't cover my head and also the fact that I could do two things at once, study healing on the web and detox my body at the same time.
I think it was "Lapis" that talked me out of the particular unit that I wanted (called it a "toy", expressing that it didn't have the quality to do the job. (^_^) )
I can't do the suggested building of a unit myself. Picture your elderly grandmother trying to build a sauna. I'm not completely elderly but healthwise I am.
Does anyone have an idea for a non-toy sauna (one would have the penetrating power needed for healing), reasonably priced, that would fit the same functionality as the foldup commercial one that's out there?
I was wondering if one could be made out of a small canvas tent or ?. That way it would still fold away and would not have unsafe synthetic materials that "give off gases" that was expressed to me as being a problem with the other unit.
