Since a virus is not alive, how does one deactivate it?

HIV has never been shown to kill a single t-cell or anything else. No one needs exotic treatments to cure AIDS. I've developed a simple protocol which appears to be about 100% effective -- that is, it works for everyone who is willing to try it, even if they don't believe in it.
