Now I have asked many people and they all said they never smelled me.

This is something I thought about many times: I think people back away from us not because we have bad breath but
first: because they can feel how tense we are when they come closer, so they leave us the space we need or

second: we might make them feel that THEY have bad breath because we also step away when they come closer because we don't want them to smell us.

And actually you know what...now that I know I don't have bad breath, I actually don't pay as much attention to my mouth and I sometimes don't taste the bad taste at all plus I got my saliva flow back to normal which makes me think that my halitophobia was putting me in very stressful state, drying my mouth, exacerbing the problem if there was one.

I trust my friends, the doctor and my husband. My husband has no problem being honest at all. And my doctor friend is not a good friend enough to lie to me(!)

Trust those who told you you didn't have bad breath: that could be your cure and it feels really good.
