The Chinese say that epilepsy originates in the intestinal area, too. I had seizures for twenty years, including grand mal, petite mal and absence seizures, until I found a doctor that asked me what I ate. He suggested no stimulants (coffee, etc) and no alcohol. That was enough to end my seizures. Since then, I've studied diet and health quite a bit, and I agree that a thorough flushing of your elimination systems is recommended, as well as a hormone free diet (no animal products).
