Recently I have been having problem with bad rectum odor and my bowel movements were not as consistant as they were supposed to be, meaning that they were not as large and usually really soft. I had to have a BM about 5 times a day and my stomach was always making noises. I also had what seemed like leaky bowels as I would put a piece of tissue between my buttcheeks and almost always had a stain on it, which I suspected was causing the odor as well. I just had a whole bunch of digestive problems, and like many of you, I posted here and other forums looking for an answer.

Well, I had surgery to repair an inguinal hernia recently and I feel like all of my problems have dissapeared. The only explaination I have is that even though it was only a small hernia, somehow my intestines were cramping up and messing with my digestion. Just wanted to share this with other who are also searching for the answer to their problems. Now my BMs are larger and more compact that they have been in year and I can't tell you how relieved I am.
