The book I have on PH balancing says that correcting your diet only helps the present and future. If you spent years eating an acidic diet, whatever amount of acid your body was not able to get rid of through the regular elimination channels, was stored in your tissue and cells. Therefore, you have to clean out this as well by taking the correct combination of alkalizing minerals. I bought some PH paper and have been testing my urine. I am always in the acidic range, but I do not follow an aklaline diet. It would be an interesting experiment for you to test your urine. Since you eat so well you would assume your urine would test out to be alkaline. But, if it doesn't, then I would think that would prove that your tissues and cells are loaded up with acid. After the Holidays I am going to try to make some changes and see what happens.
