I have just started doing alot of research on acid/alkaline health. And, if you believe what you read, all diseases and illnesses come from having an acid system (including Body Odor and bad breath). If you keep your body alkaline, you will be healthy. If you keep your body acidic, you will have problems/illnesses. But, I would think sticking to an alkaline diet would be rather difficult in todays world. Supposedly, you can take minerals to help your body become alkaline. I definitely think we're on to something here.
