Hello,

My name is DJ. I have a problem that causes my body to release a foul odor that smells like fart and shit. It is so embarassing. I have quit working, college, and withdrawed from my friends. Smoking seems to make my condition worse. It affects me everywhere I go, and I am depressed but I am still happy to you know just to be alive, but it makes me sad because i'm intelligent, aspiring to be something in life, dress nice, clean, nice looking/attractive, well groomed, and smell so horrible. It is not remotely a physical disability but it affects everything from being around your family, to work,to riding in a car, sitting in a restaraunt, things that are so easy and normal are so difficult for me. I've gone to two doctors none of them seem to have the answers. Now I am not working so I don't have healthcare insurance. I am embarassed to work I have relocated and have found two good jobs here in Georgia and quit them because I couldn't stand risking being talked about because I formely worked at a bank and they smell me and they would laugh and throw under the table jokes or stand behind me in my station. They never said anything to me but I would catch them making facial gestures at one another. It's very painful but I still keep my head up because I know we're going to get through this. When I am nervous and facing anxiety like around a lot of people or in a line or job interview or anything that makes me feel uncomfortable the scent is released and is very pervasive.
