Since this is a body-wide issue, I'd suspect that breath odor would by a side-effect of a larger issue, rather than your mouth/throat/sinus causing problems throughout the rest of the body. Gastrointestinal disturbances are one very real possibility, although there's others as well. Some suggestions in this thread:
