Hi Staci - have you had your hormones checked? I feel testing is really important as it helps you know of any big imbalances or problems. Then you can target the problem more appropriately.

Also, some issues are compounded by hormone changes. I have been fighting lyme disease and I experience worsening at certain points in my cycle.

I don't know your age, but many women benefit from progesterone cream. There's a great book called "What your doctor may not have told you about PreMenopause" by Dr. John Lee. Here it is on Amazon:
