Hi, Monica,

Reading through this thread, and remembering you're pregnant, two thoughts occurred to me...

...1. I took a magnesium oxide combination (Bio-Cleanse) as a bowel cleanse, and hated it, and quit. But, I had missed the fact that one should add LEMON JUICE!

A year or so later I tried it again, with the lemon juice, and it worked like gangbusters!

It also adds oxygen to the bowels (and elsewhere?).

However, PLEASE DON'T TAKE BOWEL CLEANSERS WHEN YOU ARE PREGNANT!!! (I know NOTHING about this.)

In fact, although I appreciate what this product did for me (without the pain of laxatives), it still seems like a man-made concoction. (And it gives a very strong reaction!)

I more recently took up kelp. The article that suggested it was posted here by JamesG. It was based on the subject of the vital electrolyte balance we all need...magnesium, potassium, sodium, and chloride (if I remember correctly).

The reasoning was that we CAN'T drink more water, without endangering the water level within our cells, unless we have a balance of these electrolytes...which also allow energy/electricity to be transfered.

The suggested method of consuming kelp (a couple of teaspoons per day) was this...

...Sprinkle some crumbled kelp on bites of food, and follow the bites with slurps of water.

I took it that the water intake could be slowly increased each day...according to desire/messages from the interior.

The article mentioned other varieties of seaweeds, such as dulse, as being good, and said that some of the good salt can be added too. (I prefer the pure Seasalt called Celtic Grey.) (I also try to avoid all processed foods containing 'salt', including butter, because they all use iodized salt, even this long after man-made/processed Iodine has been proven to be useless as an additive to salt!)

My results from kelp consumption have been a pleasant, gentle increase in energy and mental clarity. I like it...especially that I don't have to stop and think about the 'chemistry' of it all; and that real, nature-provided food works synergystically, without 'side effects'. (Smile.)

...2. I read somewhere (on the CureZone, I think) that developing babies feed on momma's blood Sugar during their first three months. The suggestion was to lick a spoon that had been dipped in honey, when needed, or to eat a piece of sweetish fruit.

(I've often wondered what happens when we mix foods, as in a salad with dressings. Does the lemon juice counteract anything sweet we might add? Would a carrot, for example, be considered less of a sweet?)

Babies are strong. They have a way of demanding what they need, and of getting it! It's a matter of priorities, built into our genes. Worry is pointless.

I truly hope there is something in this post that helps.

My best,

fledgling
