Just trying to help!:-) I didn't think I would have a problem either, but I was borderline gestational diabetic with my second pregnancy (I have 4 children). All I had to do was cut out sugars and watch my carbs. I too believe in alternative medicine, but I also know that alot of herbs that are perfectly safe for us are not safe for developing babies. I'm sure you know that gestational diabetes isn't even an accurate name as it is actually insulin resistance. Your pancreas produces plenty of insulin to deal with the sugars in your blood, but due to the hormonal changes of pregnancy the body is unable to use the insulin provided.

Anyway, that's just my two cents. I think it's better to know about harmful conditions that are able to be fixed or delt with, ensuring a healthy baby.

I hope I didn't offend you in any way. I certainly didn't mean to. Like I said, just my two cents.

Have a happy pregnancy! :-)
