I had my first baby at 31, my second at 33, my third at 35 and my fourth (and last!) baby was born 6 weeks before I turned 37. My husband is 4 years older than me, which made him 41 when our youngest was born. I didn't have any of the testing for "older" mothers. I think they are unreliable, give too many false positives and cause too much stress.

I think if you don't have any major health issues, you have several good child bearing years left.
