Awesome, awesome, awesome! Thanks for your great post! I too had a lot of trouble breastfeeding. There were moments when I wanted to give up but I knew it was best for my son and I was determined to do it no matter what. I don't think it helps any when your hormones are still out of whack those first weeks of postpartum. I cried a lot and was in a lot of pain but I am SO SO glad I stuck with it and now it's SO great. My son is a little over 8 months and is still breastfeeding. My plan is to breastfeed at least 1 year but most likely longer depending on his needs. For those mothers out there who are struggling, trust me, it DOES get better! I didn't think it would. Granted it can take a couple months, it did with me, but it's so worth it! Definitely invest in some Lansinoh cream; that stuff is heaven sent.
