I think the apology was very nice and showed she had good compassion and was not ego-based, and thus her advice goes farther in the long run...in my eyes! Loree

I agree. I felt she was sincere in her post then and just either said something in a way without having thought it through or I might have misperceived her. Either way - it shows me her intentions were in fact out of kindness.
