What a wonderful post!

You are so right when it comes to breastfeeding, this is one of the most precious gifts a mother can give her child. Along with that gift comes health and wellness for both mother and baby.

Breastfed babies are definitely happier and more content. The are being fed the perfect food that was created just for them! Easy to digest with all the nutrients a baby needs.

As for mother's health breastfeeding during the postpartum weeks almost ensures the mom an easy transition through pregnancy, birth and postpartum. Simply put breastfeeding helps the uterus contract and go back to it's "normal" pre-pregnancy size and shape. As well, breastfeeding mothers hormones are easier balanced causing a less likely-hood of postpartum depression.

Another simply fact is that mother's who breastfeed decrease their risks of breast cancer....(along with other healthy lifestyle choices)
