I do not think it is a stretch to say the the suctioning could have caused some damage. In addition, you really should consider cutting out all dairy products from of your diet. Sometimes it can take 2 weeks to clear all from baby. Is there a history of food allergy or any type of allergy on either side of the family? I am around a lot of breastfeeding moms and the diagnosis of reflux is a modern explosion. Most babies are sensitive to milk and food additives . I also have come to believe that some babies, who have never shown any food sensitivities , will do so after vaccinations. Do you normally eat a pretty good diet otherwise?
