Lillian.....thank you very much for all the great suggestions! My son is still pretty young, he's a week shy of 3 months. I did not get the Antibiotic prescription filled since what I've read is that it is unnecessary for upper respiratory infections. I've been using a vaporizer with Eucalyptus at night and putting saline in his nose about 2-3 times per day and suctioning him. Part of me still is scared I'm doing the wrong thing, like what if he gets worse or it goes to pneumonia, but I'm sure it's just my new mom role speaking. He doesn't appear to be getting worse and his behavior is the same. Do you know how long an infection like this lasts......like a week or so maybe? I'm trying to think of when it started and I think it was last Friday.
