Hi All and Happy New Year!
I have a dear friend who is a quad (over 30 years in wheelchair). She has a wound on her leg that will not heal. The doctor is proposing surgery! We suspect the wound is a result of her being lifted into a shower chair every morning.

She and her attendants are doing the obvious thing of padding and protecting the wound from reinjury each morning...but it won't heal over.

I would love your thoughts and suggestions on how to proceed.
