I seriously doubt tomato seeds would cause a problem. They are much "softer" than grape seeds. I would never recommend anyone avoid tomatoes and all that they give to try to reduce the chance of appendicitis. I just don't think they are an issue. This is of course based upon scientific information...LOL. Just my intuition.
