Even for those of us on the path to better health, I find the diet part of this so difficult. It is hard to reprogram what to eat, especially when there is so much junk thrown at us at every direction. Been to a sporting event or work event lately where health food is being served?? Why don't people "get it"???
Since starting my cleansing journey 18 months ago, I have NEVER felt as good as I did during my 5 day liver cleanse last month. I believe part of that was the fasting and the other part was I was eating/drinking pure, organic fruit and vegetables the entire week. My body obviously loved this. However, I cannot afford to eat like this every week. Any advice how to do this on a tight budget? Plus I am now down to an alarming 107 pounds and am concerned about losing any more weight. I probably need to gain at least 8-10 pounds. But I need to do this a healthy way and not just eat junk to pack on the pounds.
I would love to make more soups, etc. but am having a hard time finding the right recipies. Plus I need to be sure that in addition to putting quality soups on the table, they are also sufficient enough in calories that I don't lose any more weight.
I appreciate any thoughts on this.
