Infertility caused by IUD's is actually NOT a myth.

There is a risk of scarring to the uterus from the IUD, which can cause problems when the fertilized egg is adhering to the uterus wall.

IUD's are not side effect or danger free. Please do all your research before choosing an IUD for birth control.
