He ate a huge glop of it, about 1/2 of a 1 ounce jar, put it in his mouth, swished it, and swallowed it, and said that's great.
He was a great spirited man.
In my clinic I almost always had better results taking Spirulina along with other similar super nutritious plants like Wheatgrass, Barley Grass, Chlorella, Nutritional Yeast, so soon after I started first using it I started mixing it with other herbs, and of course with fresh vegetable juice.
That is the way I found it works best
Also, my experiments show it assimilates much better than you experienced.
You might try a Liver Gallbladder and a Colon Cleanse and then see how it assimilates.
Being a single celled plant I have found that it assimilates before it even gets to your intestines, even right in your mouth
