Find one of Flowerchild59's posts and pull up all posts by her. If I remember correctly, she is one person who has been able to bring down her cholesterol considerably with flushing, and she quit taking her cholesterol lowering meds.

The meds actually scare me. You might want to do a google search on cholesterol myths, then Udo Erasmus. In his "Fats That Kill, Fats That Heal" he does not recommend the cholestatins. He thinks they may be a major contributor to our epidemic of Alzheimers, since our brains are composed of so much cholesterol. Happy hunting
