Ana,

I totally agree with you! I put my juicer to work early
in the morning before I go to work. I am glad that you
are having success with your methods.

Obviously, I also agree that food should be thoroughly
chewed for 2 reasons. To reach a liquid-like consistency...and to give your salivary glands that produce the enzyme ( Amylase ) time to mix with your food to begin the digestion process.

Whereas, the papaya and honey is a good source of enzymes, I feel that it is not as practical nor and it is not as beneficial as plant-based enzymes that you call "pills".

Papaya produces an enzyme called papain and this enzyme works best in temperatures considerably much higher than the body.

Plant enzymes are much more effective in the pH and temperature ranges of the body and they help digest the cooked and raw foods in the upper part of the stomach.

This helps decrease and conserve the digestive enzyme secretion from the body needed for digestion.

It is wonderful to have an arrangement with a bee-keeper
nearby that provides you with fresh un-pasteurized honey, but very few people are fortunate to be able be in that
situation. We all know that anything that is exposed to
112 degree temperatures loses all of digestive enzymes.

To be able to get the recommended amount of enzymes would take a considerable portions of papayas and honey, anyway.

I have done much research and am learning more every day.
I am always open to new ideas on ways to achieve better health.
