Hi kaos!

I wouldn't be surprised if you have candida, but I don't think that's your main thing.

Anorexia, bulemia, I have a very good friend who did that, usually with laxatives. It really screws up your hormones. Also, anorectics rarely drink enough water, that plus not eating right really screws up your minerals and your kidneys. If you had a complete metabolic workup on your lab tests and creatinine came back normal, then you haven't done any permanent damage and so this is quite manageable with diet. :)

See, the body has to maintain a healthy blood PH balance wtihout fail or you die - heart stops, etc. It's what killed Karen Carpenter. To maintain a PH of 7, the body will use minerals to offset acids. You've completely drained your body of everything it needs to maintain healthy blood PH and you must replace it.

Additionally, you've messed up your liver, so that it cannot manage your hormones properly.

So before you do antoher flush, you've got to get your body as many minerals as possible in a way that doesn't stress your kidneys (in other words, most supplements are too strong for you).

So.. first things first:

1. You need to drink good bottled water - NOT distilled - at least half your body weight in ounces. For instance, if your normal body weight is 120 pounds, you need 60 oz. Get a jar like the ones rock climbers use, the indestructable plastic, about a liter size, fill it, sip it all day except before during and right after meals.

2. For every quart drunk, take 1/2 tsp of good Sea Salt . Get the gray moist looking kind from a health food store, Celtic Sea Salt is a good one. (This is the Water Cure , which you can read abuot online here.)

3. Get a bottle of liquid trace minerals and add them to your water.

4. Drink, IN ADDITION to the water, this lemonade drink:

1/2 lemon freshly squeezed, 6 oz water, 1 tsp grade B maple syrup, 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar, preferably raw and organic, but any is okay. Add cayenne pepper if it doesn't irritate you.

5. stop eating all flours and refined sugars and junky snack foods. Don't eat any animal proteins except for very small servings every-other day for about 3 months, preferably turkey and fish only. Fish should only be eaten twice a week due to mercury concerns.

6. Eat instead lots of vegetable soups and sauteed veggies. Raw foods are too harsh for your system now, especially if you get cold easy and get chapped lips easily.

7. Avoid mucous-forming foods, as in dairy and oranges and bananas. Best fruit for you right now is green apples - Fuji are delicious - cherries and blueberries. If you eat melon, eat it by itself, as a meal in itself.

8. In morning and/or evening on an empty stomach, take 1 tablespoon of good olive oil, gradually working up dose to 3 tablespoons. When you get up to two tablespoons, be sure to follow with lemonade drink. This is a gentle Liver Flush that hopefully will not bring on the fever and sweats.

9. I know supplements are trying for you, so to cleanse the liver try eating beets and drinking beet juice (no more than 2 oz at a time, or two beets at a time). See if you can take small dosages of Milk Thistle.

10. Another supplement that should help you a lot is pancreatic enzymes, to be taken with all meals.

As you know, avoid all other supplements. Your liver cannot handle them.

11. Read Dr. Bernard Jensen 's book on Tissue Cleansing through Bowel Management. It's online here or availble thru amazon.com. Basically, you want to strengthen your colon by taking plenty of fiber, de-tox a bit with liquid Bentonite clay, which shouldn't give you any reactions, and restore healthy gut flora with probiotics. I like "Primal Defense" but only take one to start and don't be surprised if you get a rash.

12. Try taking "Perfect Food" just one or two a day to start. You need all of the minerals in this super green supplement by Garden of Life.

Do this for one month to three months and check back in - let us know your progress and remaining symptoms. You have to go slowly with this, it's very very very important. My recommendations also work for bringing Candida back into balance too.

Best of luck to you! Please feel free to ask any questions you have.
