Most of you seem to be missing the most important part of the original message. She had made it clear that she did not want to engage in sexual activity that night. Also, judging by her reaction and the fact that he knew she would be upset, they had not established that kind of activity during sleep as being ok in their relationship. It's not about absolute rules that work for everyone... it's about what works in each person's relationship. Obviously, that sort of activity was inappropriate to her or she wouldn't have posted in the first place.
