that was a lovely note. however, i disagree with you about the animals. it is indeed a fair comparison to compare us to the animals. its been proven that our DNA is 99% the same as apes. both give live birth, pair off with a partner, sometimes for life, breast feed, care for their young, etc...... the same things. the difference is we have minds that judge and we drive and write checks, and we have marriage licenses. And we somehow have gotten the idea that we are not animals.
