I REALLY thought about it some more.....and....you may not like this....

I think that for 99/100 people p 0 r n is bad news. Maybe as high as 99.9.

I "sat" with what you said for a while....you are probably an exception...maybe one in a million....(smile)

"To the pure in heart, all things are pure"...I think that's right. Most of us just aren't that pure, and people who aren't honest or don't know themselves will actually hurt themselves and others by their not so innocent pasttime....they just aren't as "healthy" as they would need to be. Fire destroys, fire warms and comforts. IMHO, p 0 r n is fire for most.

If a person is physically ill and has no appetite....just giving them more and more enticing, tempting rich treats isn't going to help them heal....they'll eat maybe, and puke it up till they are healthy....and spiritually/emotonally damaged people(most of the population).....they won't keep a balance.....

just as some people can't do dairy, others sugar, some can't digest meat....most peoples spirtual "livers" can't handle the "toxins" in p 0 r n. Okay, I admit, I don't know much about p 0 r n....but it's more than beautiful naked bodies, and steamy stories, or even "nasty" jokes....

I'm not saying this well--hope it make a little bit of sense...I'd better just give up. Make that a 2 cent debit. I'm still impressed with how much you have pondered this whole issue, and that you take the time to share. I think you gave people a lot to think about. You are very eloquent...

another day in earth school....sigh....gotta pack a lunch!

edit note: honesty time: I am naive....and I'm hiding behind my number...iffen I get caught on this forum....let's say I've learned a great deal just the two times I've visited....so, I'm a work in progress....but that's my take on it(p 0 r n) and i'm sticking to it...at least for now. You are truly unique.
Even my counselor, who is a member of my church, burst out laughing (first time I remember him laughing at me in ten years) when I finally shared some of my ideas about sex and sexuality, and what certain scriputes meant. It's not like they discussed it in Sunday School--my own interpretation was a bit harsh....
But I think he would agree with me on this one...I'll never know, cause I wouldn't dare ask....I can still blush and I am well over 40!

To me, compassion/caring is very sexy. I just figured that out last week.
