You can go a lifetime w/o sex. However, it will be very frustrating experience because of all the pressure to have sex from acquaintances/friends and media advertising sex. Also, you may find yourself fantasizing from time to time about people and getting aroused w/o the act itself and make yourself more and more dissatisfied.
