concerning the voting polls.
they really are unnecessary.
and worse create a large amt of distraction on Support Forums
Our Webmaster has recently added the ALERT click ability to every poster.
please use this
when you see a post that you feel breaks rules,
don't even respond,
just open the message and click alert.
you can also use alert for good posts that you feel might be useful as an R or even RN status.
this way it remains private, quiet, simple.
and no distractions within a support forum.
it also helps mods pinpoint bad posts that we might otherwise be unaware of.
remember, we are all volunteers and have other life activities.
sometimes we can't be in all places at once..
We are not concerned with WHO sent the alert, etc
or how often you might alert us to bad posts .
please though only alert us to a specific post one time.
we do not need you to send 3 alerts for the same post.
As long as it really breaks with posting guidelines
we welcome the input, as it better helps us do our jobs.
All mods get alerted btw . every mod sees every alert.
thanks for helping us forward in this new method.
we feel it will end up with good results.
if in doubt of what the forum descriptions are or rules on Support Forums vs Debate Forums ,
please re- read the rules.
If you feel you have overstepped bounds on personal posts, utilise your *edit-self* capabilty and go to the message window,
as if you were writing a new post.
make the necessary changes, and click on submit.
your newly edited post will then show.
thank you for your help and understanding.
