I used to get this symptom too, but I can't remember if it was when I had just come off the pill. It does not necessarily mean that you are pregnant.

Caffeine can cause swelling and tenderness in your breasts around your period. I notice that I don't get the symptom you mention now that I've cleansed and cleaned up my diet.
