Please dont worry, I was exactly the same. I was 20 (5 yrs ago) when I finally found the courage & afterwards wondered what I'd been so nervous about! If you love & trust your partner then you'll be fine, if he cares as much about you then he will be gentle & understanding - & if he's not then DONT DO IT COZ HE'S NOT WORTH IT!

Pain-wise it's important to be relaxed or it will hurt. For me it was just a tiny pain for a second but the whole thing was so enjoyable & exciting I hardly noticed - & its such a relief!

I agree the best way to start is to get comfortable with your own body & what you enjoy. There really is no rush to lose your virginity, if your boyfriend truly loves you then he'll only want you to do it when you are ready.
