If you do lose your sex drive after you've had a baby and are nursing, it is completly normal. I don't know the name of the hormone, but it is released in your body when you are lactating and it is meant to surpress your sexual desires. The reasoning (as I've read) is so that you don't get pregnant too quickly and can care for your newborn. The archives for La Leche League have an abundance of information.
