Go Sally! I totally agree with what you are saying. The thyroid gets overlooked way too often. I've been to so many doctors over the past 18 years and I only got correctly diagnosed just recently. Has your doctor thought of adding Cytomel (I think that's the right name - it's T3)? A lot of women don't feel quite right unless they get a mix of T4 and T3 and Synthroid is just T4. If you have problems converting T4 to T3 then you are not getting what you need. T3 is the active form. I'm using Armour thyroid myself, which has both T4 and T3. So far so good but I am still in the process of titrating my dose up to where I need it. I have definitely felt more of that "lovin' feelin'" lately though. It's not near where I once was before things went haywire, but I am optimistic that it will get there. I actually got about 90% to an cllmax through just intercourse recently and that NEVER happens. It's so hard to explain to someone what is missing unless they have experienced it, but you are right. It's that tingly thing that makes all the difference. I think wanting it is more fun that the cllmax myself and I miss that so much. I keep trying to explain to husband that it's like trying to eat when you are not hungry. It still tastes good, but you really don't want it in the first place and it's not nearly as yummy. If someone keeps telling you eat, eat when you are not hungry it starts to feel like a chore. That's what it's like when you have no sex drive.
Oh, I meant to ask what is this supplement? Is it coconut oil?
