I didn't have fast breathing. The first doctor gave me the Cipro because he said I had a mild kidney infection, but he didn't know what was causing my hives. I think he gave me the Cipro to try and cover if he was missing something.

The second doctor checked my blood and urine and called the next day to say I didn't have any kidney infection, but my lymphocytes (sp?) were elevated indicating a viral infection. My white blood cells were normal and my ESR was 25.

I'm just glad I only took four pills before quiting. My joints are still sore.

I'm taking some natural stuff to get rid of the viral infection.
