I already responded to part of your question on the liver forum.
But since I find you here, I thought to mention my concern about candida and black strap molasses.
Years ago I took black strap molasses, not knowing that I had a bad case of Candida. All the Sugar in the molasses made my candida flair up in a nasty way, that's how I found out I had candida.
