Yes it would be wonderful if there was a cure for drug addiction and alcoholism...however, until that time, I think we really need to have treatment centers for this horrible dis-ease. They help millions of people to get off and stay off alcohol and/or drugs.

AA is the only way that I know of to have long time quality sobriety.
