Hi. I'm new here. I've suffered from severe PMDD since I was 22, I'm now 29. I've recently been taking a mild antidepressant and it has changed my life. You name the symptoms and I was getting it. It was so bad I was constantly bloated, I went up two dress sizes, I was tired all the time, I couldn't function properly, I had tummy cramps even when I'd finished my period, I felt as though I was going to start all over again.

My doctor hadn't a clue what was wrong until I change practice and immediatly my new doctor prescribed some tablets and I've never looked back.

I could be on them for years, who knows. I am also an anorexic, which I believe contributed to my getting PMDD. If there are any PMDD sufferers out there who wish for some support please get in touch. No one beleived me and I know how alone you can feel.
