I have severe systemic candida and have food allergies to ALL grains. Besides, with candida you are not supposed to eat anything starchy or too much carb.

HOWEVER, I also am fat intolerant. I will literally STARVE on a low carb/ high fat diet.

Unfortunately, I am "blessed" with the gift of GAINING any amount of fat I put into my mouth instead of digesting it. (the only thing that eases the weight gain a little bit is absurd amounts of bile salts with each meal --but I do not have the money to afford the amount of bile salts I would need, nor do I want to shut down my gallbladder.)

So I will actually gain MORE weight on a low carb diet than not. I know this one for a fact because I only get stretch marks from my weight gain when on the low carb diet, so I know I must be gaining faster than ever. The only reason that this would make sense is if my protien and fat digestion was not working, right?

It is interesting because BEFORE the fat depositing problem began I was able to obtain a little energy from fat. Now I get zero calories from them to burn. It's all gained.

So what should I eat guys? Never mind the weight gain. This will keep on going anyway until my gallbladder/liver are up and running again.

I'm wondering about which is better for my liver/gallbladder to deal with?

A) Eating MASSIVE quantities of vegetables and normal amount of fat and protien and allowing myself to be ravashingly hungry.

OR

B) Eat just enough grains/starch to sustain my caloric needs (i.e. very little) and normal amount of protien and fat.

My kinesiologist tells me I am allergic to all grains and to avoid them and to do the high protien high fat diet. But I STARVE on this and GAIN like MAD!!!

He also has found my gallbladder and liver are highly congested (on a scale of 1-10 I am a 9)

I can't imagine a high protien and fat diet could be very good for the liver/gallbladder.

But neither is eating food you are "allergic" to!

The good news is that I do not notice that big of a reaction to grains lately when I take the Schultze liver cleanse (I also did a successful Hulda Clark liver cleanse the other night.)

Sorry this is so long, but what do you think if I ate ONLY enough whole grain to sustain my caloric needs without giving me a noticable reaction. If I don't NOTICE a reaction, does this mean my liver can handle it and still heal?

I want to be able to have a healthy Diet for my liver and gallbladder WITHOUT being hungry all the time!

If anyone can help me I would be sooooo grateful.

Ann.
