I had the same question when I started hearing about how many positives there are through Bowen. But there are two things that I think may cause this: One, people who have doggedly waded through so much research on their own and desperate for a diagnosis seem to be a large part of Bowen's clientele. I figure the really sick and really determined people find them, and that this is why most of them test positive for Lyme.

Secondly, I understand the concept of "false positives" with other tests, but with this one I just am baffled as to how actual Lyme spirochetes could actually visually show up falsely. I mean, they take a look and can actually see the little buggers there. But then perhaps there can be some room for error with the protein markers they use? I dunno.

It's a scary thought to think that so many people have Lyme that they have so many positives. I wonder also if the lyme pathogen, having the ability to be dormant/latent, is one of those things like mono where people can be exposed and asymptomatic but still show its presence. I think I read that something like 85 percent of people have mono in their systems - not sure if it's the antigen or the antibody.

If you could, could you please tell me where you get your lyme nosode stuff? I am reeeeeeally adverse to the idea of taking Antibiotics , an trying to treat as holistically as possible and am very interested in that these seem to work for you.
