Oh! My heart goes out to you both! Not to mention what I could learn from y'alls STICK-TO-IT-IVENESS as my mother calls is. I'd have blown the whole mess off day one. And which one of you just threw up at her desk? You poor thing!
STOP the MC now! There's absolutely no reason to put yourselves through this torture, becuase that's what it is for you both! You know, there's more than one way to skin a cat. Then you can accomplish y'alls goals without being miserable. Life's too short for that!
A FEW THINGS:
detox in pieces, a bit at a time. For instance, colon cleansing - denzel mentions the poop rope. That was me and I didn't even know what the hell I was doing (actual post is around page 12 maybe - sub post, I think it mentions POOP ROPE. I ate normally and drank tea temp water only all day. Find the post - it was pretty wild.
I have so much cheese in me, I was just beginning to see detox signs on day 9, but I had to get off the lemonade stuff and back on to food. Today I began a colon cleansing program by pill - it's a 4-step program called MASTER DETOX - and if you do a google search for that, look for the URL that begins Great American Products. I did it half a few months back with great results, but didn't finish it. I'm doing it again now.
research this site for other options. I intended to do a liver/gallbladder flush, but decided NOT to do the big time, ZOOM ZOOM one that is over and done. There are a few others that are more gradual.
What's my point? With some research and some care and self interest, you can find ways to get done what you want, but a way that works FOR you and WITH you rather than AGAINST you.
UNLESS.......you for some reason believe it MUST be a nasty activity - in other words, fallacies such as: no pain, no gain; anything worth having doesn't come easily, etc. Then you have to change your HEAD too, cause if you consciously or unconsciously feel as if you have to PUNISH yourself, then it's a tough journey no matter which way you play it.
